KUB Chain and Tether Announce Strategic Collaboration to Accelerate Digital Asset Use Cases in Southeast Asia

Bangkok, Thailand – 29 September 2026 – KUB Chain today announced a collaboration with Tether, the largest company in the digital asset industry, to significantly lower barriers to entry for users across Southeast Asia by optimizing transaction efficiency and minimizing USDT-KUB network fees.


This joint initiative will reinforce the widespread use of USDT while eliminating friction in USDT transactions, substantially reducing gas fees, and expanding the stablecoin's genuine utility across KUB Chain’s decentralized application (dApp) ecosystem. Powered by the newly revamped KUB Wallet (a digital wallet developed by Bitkub Blockchain Technology Co., Ltd.), the collaboration will focus on seamless access, targeted reward initiatives for USDT holders and transactors, and localized education to advance regional blockchain literacy.


Through this collaboration, KUB Chain will seek to remove barriers to transacting with USDT and reward users who choose the stablecoin on KUB Chain as their preferred asset across various native applications, thereby driving adoption of the user-centric ecosystem. This approach aligns with KUB Chain's direction in developing an Open Financial On-Chain Infrastructure that connects users, developers, applications, and digital assets. It also opens opportunities for globally used digital assets like USDT to play a significant role and be further developed into new use cases on KUB Chain in the future.


KUB Chain will launch various activities and projects to expand the use and increase the accessibility of USDT within the KUB ecosystem. This includes promoting on-chain activities, creating new opportunities for users to leverage USDT, and supporting the integration of USDT into various applications and services on KUB Chain.
