Asst. Prof. Dr. Nuttapon Nimmanphatcharin, President/CEO of the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), reveals a steadfast commitment spanning over 6 years to propel the growth of Thai digital startups at every developmental phase. With a focal point on crafting an ecosystem that amplifies the functionality of digital startups across all dimensions. This includes supporting digital startups in the Deep Tech sector, advancing technology and digital innovations tailored to meet the economic and social needs of the nation. Simultaneously, depa nurtures the transformation of digital products and services into thriving commercial markets. Through the depa Digital Startup Fund, structured as an Angel Fund support program, over 160 Thai digital startups have received backing, contributing to a substantial economic value to the country surpassing over 15,000 million baht.

Recently, depa has initiated a call for project proposals to promote and support investments or ventures from digital startups in the initial phase across various industries, including healthcare, public services, tourism, agriculture, education, services, finance, and smart cities.
